hey can less than 50%in graduation is eligible for iit madras mtech programe?
Hello,
Hope you are doing great! Here's your answer!
The Indian Institute of Technology Madras is known both nationally and internationally for excellence in technical education, basic and applied research, innovation, entrepreneurship and industrial consultancy.
Generally your undergraduation CPI or percentage is only considered. Like for IIT Bombay, Madras, Roorkee, you need a minimum CPI of 6.0 or 60% in your Graduation to apply for their M. Tech courses.
Master's degree in Science or 4-year Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with biology or related subjects as one of the papers at the 10+2 level or later, along with a valid GATE score in related disciplines.
Candidates graduating/ graduated from IITs with B. Tech. Degree and having CGPA of 8.0 (on a scale of 10) and above can apply without GATE Score.
Hope it will help!
Thank you!
